Why Karl Marx.....And What is Wrong with the Loyal Opposition?

I can hear the cries now. You Marxist. Socialist. Stalinist. Fool. Or simply silence. Because the bluster and foolishness is coming (and has come) from another corner.

I posted a paper due regarding Karl Marx because I wrote the paper and I figured why not. I also figured anyone with the courage to listen to my ranting ought to be exposed to a short summary of the ideals of the German Communist.

Am I a communist?.....no.

Am I a capitalist?.......yes.

Am I an American?..........yes.

Why do I feel the need to defend myself and my ideas?...........Because the ignorant fool has reached the zenith of demanding ignorance and unconscionable fealty to a single minded doctrine which is very obviously misunderstood to begin with.

Yes, I am talking about Rushbo, Chairman (or whatever he is) of the Excellence in Broadcasting Network (EIB). He’s in the news again. And he digs it I’m sure.

What amazes me is that people seem to have forgotten that he made his living attacking our 42nd president mercilessly. He fell into the shadows when G.W. Bush took the helm. He feeds on divisiveness, ignorance, and thoughtlessness. He grows with each passing lie told to support a foolish and inconsistent measure of reality. And people listen to him.

Consider the following, taken from Rush Limbaugh’s website at: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_031209/content/01125122.guest.html

Daniel Henninger Nails Obama

March 12, 2009

Daniel Henninger is a brilliant guy. His column is consistently superb, and this one really nails who Obama is. It's why, during the campaign, Obama made the "moral" argument for taxing the achievers even when it was pointed out to him that this would necessarily depress revenues and therefore deny his big government the resources to do the big things he wants to do.

This was never about economics, not principally. It's about "social justice." His education plan is Maoist (no surprise given the Ayers/Klonsky influence), and he is otherwise a Bolshevik. I'm also quite sure, given his character traits, that he would be a Stalinist if he thought he could get away with it ... and he's working on that, too. I wonder what the country will look like in his 10th or 15th year as president?

Read Henninger's Column...

Wall Street Journal: The Obama Rosetta Stone - Daniel Henninger

Now, I don’t know who Daniel Henninger is. Nor did I read his column. I don’t need to. Rush has told me what I need to know.

This man, and the meek and cowardly throng on his side of the argument who oppose him, will tell you that “social justice” is wrong.

NOW, this ignorant slob is making an argument that our President.....the President of all the United States........is a Maoist, a Bolshevik, and a would be Stalinist.

1. Maoists and Bolsheviks are completely different.

2. Nothing wrong with calling him names, but get them right.

3. Social justice simply means we don’t, as a society, allow the greedy to succeed in their impure plans to pollute the neighborhoods of workers

4. I can’t get over this obsession with taxing “the achievers”.

As to # 4 above..........By this logic..........used by the distinguished former Senator from Tennessee during his presidential run...........those who truly achieve are himself, Rush Limbaugh, Al Franken, the cast of Saturday Night Live, the people who make 50 million/year, Kobe Bryant, that baseball player who got caught doing performance enhancing drugs (pick one), Donald Trump, plastic surgeons, and a host of other sycophantic zombies who believe that as long as their gated community is safe the world is ok.

Now........let’s really look at who is left out of this equation, according to Rushbo......cops, firefighters, nurses, high school teachers, grammar school teachers, factory workers, farm hands, hotel employees, most small business owners, a great many nurse practitioners, bus drivers, the people who wash your car, the people who clean your house, the people who watch your gates, the people who cook and serve you your food, many of the people who grow your food, taxi drivers, airplane pilots, most construction workers, road crews, traffic guards, lunch ladies, most sales people, people who pick fruit, and this list can go on and on and on and on..........in fact, it is ninety five percent of our own nation............and probably ninety eight percent of the world.

You see, I am not advocating equal pay for all individuals. But there is nothing wrong with social justice.....and this just shows what a blustering fool Limbaugh really is. And what angers me is not that he says what he says....it is that he is an idiot and people listen to him.

Consider for a moment:

He is on his third marriage with no children.......and he wants to be an authority of family values

He is an admitted (or at least exposed) drug addict......and he wants to tell you about the righteousness of locking up people who smoke marijuana.

He did not vote for Ronald Reagan........but he claims he is a Reaganaut.

He sat on welfare.......and he claims welfare recipients are terrible and wrong.

He has never run a business........but provides expert advice on the morality of business.

He wants to be the spokesperson for the party of Lincoln....still he appeals to the baser devils of human nature.

He claims he stands for Republican virtues........but fails to understand the elements of Theodore Roosevelt’s presidency.

He is a college dropout who wants to explain Constitutional law on his program (and then confuse the Constitution with the Declaration of Independence).

He is a draft dodger who supports war.

He has never done anything but be a talk show host......yet he influences millions.

And the leadership of the Grand Old Party is afraid of him.

And we wonder why discourse has been degraded within our nation?
